We are thrilled to announce that Dr. Cathryn Harbor, an MD and Functional Medicine Certified Practitioner with more than 30 years of experience, will be joining Ravel Health as our new Chief Medical Officer (CMO), effective February 1.

Dr. Cathryn has spent the last 20 years in solo practice at Rockbridge Traditional Medicine, helping individuals navigate complex chronic illnesses. Her decision to close the doors to her clinic and embark on this new chapter with us is an incredible opportunity for Ravel Health, and we are truly honored to have her onboard!

Dr. Cathryn’s career path reflects her commitment to helping people whose conditions fall outside the traditional healthcare model. Originally trained in primary care, she gravitated toward functional medicine when she realized that her most interesting and challenging patients struggled with chronic conditions that weren’t effectively addressed by conventional treatments. Over time she has come to believe that considering and, if necessary, treating tick-borne infections and mold illness is critical to resolving many chronic inflammatory conditions.
 
As CMO, Dr. Cathryn will support existing providers and help us select, onboard, and support new providers. Our goal in working with her is to ensure that we maintain our community spirit and medical integrity as we seek to grow and scale our offerings.
